Born May 1952 in Elisabethville (today Lumumbashi), Congo. I grew up in South Africa. Studied Waldorf Education in Witten, Germany. Worked as teacher at the Waldorf school in Johannesburg and lecturer at the Baobab Community College in Alexandra, a township in Johannesburg and as schools consultant for the new schools in the area, particularly in the black communities. Now living in Switzerland. Founding member of Idem – Identity through Initiative, and active in conferences and workshops as well as writing and translation.
